What is Ceremony?
Ceremony is a communal sound experience for personal exploration, healing, and transformation from conditioned beliefs and behaviors to our most authentic and accountable self. Through facilitated discussion, optional intuitive movement, and Rebecca's live soundscapes, participants are guided to somatic release.
Rebecca creates space to release, rejuvenate and reconnect with your inner self. Participants leave with tools to continue their journey of self-compassion and community care.

Post-Show SOMATIC INTEGRATION
Rebecca offers customized sound experiences as special post-production programming for shows with activating and/or complex themes.
These collaborative ceremonies utilize discussion, reflection, and soundscapes to help audiences and performers process the show and take authentic action in the world.
For Organizational Wellness
Rebecca also facilitates sound experiences for organizational retreats, workshops, and staff activities. She seamlessly blends dialogue, embodiment practices, and meditative soundscapes to address employee burnout and nurture community care.
Her programs support participants to identify and release limiting workplace beliefs and open space for authenticity, integrity, and collective purpose.
Past Events
Rebecca has facilitated ceremony at galleries, festivals, conferences, and more. Scroll down to the Past Events section for details.
What people are saying
Unlearning was a big lesson that I got from Rebecca's class that I look forward to revisiting. Things like literal words, direct and indirect laws, things that we are expected to do because of our race and gender, and white supremacy are deeply rooted in our bodies and brains. We need to take extra time to unlearn it. Otherwise, we might not be able to recognize that we have those inside us.

I love what you created in that room. The energy was immaculate and now in every room I’m in I feel so much lighter and keep demanding LIBERATION!
Lotus and the Unlikely Crew, Theater Programming Participant
Your soundscapes are incredible. As soon as you started singing/speaking my body reacted. I began to dance and move places in my body that I didn't even know were blocked. I felt a huge emotional release.
La MaMa Galleria Participant
Rebecca KellyG offered a compassionate, accessible, joyous workshop to my students. It was invigorating to experience the music in our bodies. Rebecca’s workshop gave us so many artful and embodied entry points for understanding how we could source our activism, our truth, and our desire for social change.

This felt like a multidimensional approach, bringing an embodied/somatic approach to the normally intellectualized topic of internalized oppression.
Community Gathering Participant
I loved that you seemed to be having an experience right along with everyone else. Sometimes going to workshops can be intimidating because the teacher seems to have it all down perfectly and it feels very scripted. I felt very confident being guided by you. I felt that you knew what you were doing but you were also very present and in the moment which allowed for ‘imperfect’ moments which is a breath of fresh air.
Community Gathering Participant
Rebecca KellyG really allowed every individual to move fluidly through any motions that came out of instinct. We moved however we liked and really incorporated our feelings into our actions. The entire master class was so interesting because it felt like I was truly bringing my emotions out through a different form of communication, which is body language.
